HeeNaStudios started in 2024 as a result of a key observation - many bands and songwriters writing their own music, but many of them not being heard by the general public in Singapore. Through speaking with these songwriters, we realised a core reason. Somewhere between songwriting and the release of the song, a crucial area is missed out on and it leads to the song not reaching its full potential. We think its a big shame, and we are aware that making a track sound release-ready can be expensive in terms of equipment and studio time.

Nicholas Sng - CEO, Director (Finance, Branding)
Nic began his professional music journey in 2022 as a drummer with the Music & Drama Company (So Drama! Entertainment), where he gained firsthand experience in live performance and music production workflows. Inspired by what he learned, he picked up the electric guitar and soon began producing and mixing his own tracks. Within a year, his unique sound and growing expertise attracted aspiring songwriters who sought his help to produce and mix their songs—marking the start of his career as a music producer.
Passionate about the live music experience, Nic expanded his craft in 2025 to include live show design, helping artists bring their performances to life with impactful stage production.
Outside of music, Nic enjoys playing floorball, kayaking, and what he fondly refers to as "side-questing"—exploring new hobbies and adventures wherever he can find them.
Gian Franco - Director (Artist Management)
Franco developed a wide range of hobbies growing up, from sports like football, basketball, and boxing to leisure activities such as watching films. However, he was most passionate about music—a creative outlet that became his best form of self-expression.
His father introduced him to legendary bands like The Beatles and also also urged him pick up the guitar - an instrument that would become essential to his artistic identity.
Franco began sharing covers of his favorite songs on social media before transitioning into songwriting, producing and independently releasing original music. Wanting to collaborate with like-minded individuals, he became more active in the local music scene, performing with different bands.
At a studio session, Franco met Nic, who shared his vision of lowering the barriers to entry for emerging artists, recognising the need for accessible support and resources. At HeeNaStudios, Franco works closely with artists to help them navigate their musical journeys.
